Buyback & Bury

circle-info

The term "bury" is used here to indicate that burned tokens can be reminted as long as circulating supply is below the maximum supply limit.

10% of the total SOL from Auction-based Mining and 8% of the total SOL from Block-based Mining are allocated to Buyback & Bury.

Why it matters

  • Deflationary pressure: Burying decreases supply over time, helping counterbalance emissions and mining rewards.

  • Value recycling: A portion of user activity (bids, mining participation) is routed back into supporting the token economy.

  • Aligns incentives: More protocol usage → more SOL fees → more buybacks → stronger long-term holder confidence.

Transparency

  • Buyback and bury transactions are on-chain and verifiable, allowing anyone to track how much SOL is used, how much MACARON is bought, and how much is buried.
