Refining

Macaron uses a Refining system to reward players who are patient and hold their mining rewards longer.

Instead of receiving instantly “final” MACARON, your mining rewards are first tracked as unrefined MACARON.

Unrefined $MACARON

When you own a Macaron cake or deploy in winning block, you earn unrefined MACARON

Claim = Refining (10% fee)

When you press Claim, the protocol:

• Converts your unrefined MACARON into refined MACARON

• Takes a 10% refining fee on the amount you claim.

Who gets the 10% fee?

• It is redistributed to all players who still hold unrefined MACARON (have not claimed yet), proportional to their unrefined balance.
